Agree about the privacy glass tends to unbalance the look of the car and yes, bitcoins are out, there's a new unit of currency, the SVR full tank of super-unleaded, around £150 in old money.

Disappointed if others here are saying first cars are May, I saw a date of Jan 12th for "Job One" which I take to mean the first cars off the line. It's going to put still more pressure on the supply of the V8 SC engine in all its guises.

Slightly concerned too that not even 21 inch wheels can have a spare. I've had 3 punctures in my Evoque in less than 3 years and each time, having the space saver has saved me untold inconvenience. Mark

SVR in Estoril Blue

I would imagine the date for Job #1 is first on not off the line, but great news.

Dealer suggesting May was possibly being sensible as I think numbers, in the UK at least, will be low.

SVR in Estoril Blue

Great isn't it, although better IMO than the £380 for red paddles on the current model list. My spec'd car is not much more than the AB, like you, I ordered 11 months ago.

ETA: Seeing as the SVR is limited to 162 mph (260 kph), the acceleration of the car in the launch video ( ) at 2:02 is impressive
