That doesn't include tax, but even so. Our price before tax is $130k approximately. Just be grateful we don't live in the Netherlands where the so-called "slurp tax" adds hugely to the cost. Similarly in Norway, Denmark, China, Australia... As first I thought the 110 figure was the price of your configured car in GBP! Mark SVR in Estoril Blue |

Should have really gone petrol originally as I'm missing the raw pace I used to get in my V8 Vantage - which sadly went when the need for rear seats came!

Hopefully the fact that we can't keep up with demand for V8s might mean you don't lose out too much.

Dickie, two weeks ago, I was ready to cancel my bog standard Supercharged (due end December) and change the order to an SVR. But having waited so long for it, I don't want to wait another potential few or several months for the SVR. So I am going to do the same and maybe wait until the first major revisions to the L494 are made and get an SVR then. Plus, given the cost, I would actually like to test drive one before committing to one. Cheers Jas |

I remember when the supercharged models used to drop like a brick and every one would buy the diesels but they seem to hold there value well now if not better , is this right? Fewer of them as well so perhaps this is helping. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black. |

I'm thinking (and hoping) that it's simple demand/supply issues that'll keep the petrol engined prices up - mainly from the Us market who only have demand for petrol engines.

It's certainly very impressive, especially that slalom test. I am surprised at the amount of rear axle squat under acceleration and I wonder whether there's the same level of front axle dive under braking. Maybe it's required to give the driver the right feedback. Makes me think the rear suspension should be stiffened under acceleration but maybe there are reasons why not. Mark
