could maybe be a pin hole in your inter cooler pipe and obviously gets bigger when under higher pressure(accelerating) |

Faulty EGR valves maybe, common problem. |

I'd go with EGR valves too. The delay in responding to the throttle is the EGR being slow and then the smoke is because the engine is momentarily overfuelled. That or an incipient failure of the intercooler hose. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks for the help, I had the egr valves blanked a cpl months ago , does that rule them out of the problem |

I had the same thing. The EGRs were done but there was also a split in the intercooler. All fixed now and it's like a different car. |

Had it checked out , split on inter cooler pipe, got one coming tomorrow from stealer £45, thanks for all your help and advice.
