Switched Live - Under Bonnet

Hi, I am looking to install some Osram combined DRL/ Fog/ Cornering lamps in my 2012MY RRS. In order to complete the install I need to find a switched live for the secondary feed. I have checked the main fuse board but can only see constant lives. I would prefer not to go through the bulkhead if possible.

Any help or advice on where I can link onto a switched +ve would be appreciated

Many thanks in advance

Some fuses stay live for a short time after switching ignition off.

The only one that I found that is purely a switched live is the fuel pump, hence I took my switched live off this fuse using a piggy back fuse holder and wire.

Managed to find a feed with assistance from another thread, in front of the radiator and close to the horn is a socket which I believe is part of the loom for the adaptive cruise control (which is not fitted as an option to mine)

d-a-n - thank you yes it works a treat, indeed I did read your post for the solution on switched +ve. Apparently on the earlier RRS pin 14 on the headlight multi plug is switched but its not used on the MY12 (and maybe others)

Anyway now all working as it should - there is an alternative cabling solution that allows the DRL to dim with the headlights on as opposed to switching off as I have them now. I will try that at the weekend and see how that looks.

They are certainly a nice piece of kit with the combined DRL and fog light functions (separate lights and reflectors) and the option to link into the cornering lights also
