That's what happened to me, no matter what I did I couldn't get the CC to work, then when I stopped and went to put it in park I realised I was in sport. Went back out, and CC worked perfectly. |

Just drove a couple of miles down dual carriageway - went from D - to SPORT mode with cruise on - worked - I then put it into Command Shift - again it stayed on - even used the gap button with no problems at all. Tried it the other way round putting it straight into SPORT then setting the CC - again no issues 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Now that's weird, just tried to look at manual online through topix but the sites not working properly. The Freelander manual says don't use in sport mode.

When you say that active distance control worked do you mean the one that is associated with cruise control or the one controlled by the button on the centre console? If the one on the centre console works but not the rest of it then I would suggest that the brake switch might need changing. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
