if I were you, I would buy the camera and see if this can be connected directly. although i have been informed that a video interface is required (i.e. there isn't one built-in). there are some tech savvy guys on this forum and I'm sure they would have solved this had it been possible. but try to prove them wrong Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Many thanks for the reply Luke. I am fairly sure nothing else is needed - I think the video interface which is only needed if you do not have the TV/Satnav is the GVIF. I have got a camera and I just need the connector for the display to try it out.

Peanut, it only works automatically if you put the touchscreen into FFRR mode by cutting one of the wires on the back of the screen.

As Bodsy says you need to be in FFRR mode for this to work. I've tried it and found it to be unreliable and giving problems elsewhere with the touchscreen interface so reverted back to the standard RRS mode.
