RRS Transmission Fault

Just after some help....

few weeks ago my range lost power from gearbox after coming up with transmission fault, after been towed home and scanner plugged in it came up with torque converter solenoid stuck and also incorrect gear ratio...i was advised to change transmission fluid and sump filter which i have done and i got it up to temperature last night and topped it up as stated.

Everything was working spot on even the acceleration response was better. After about 30 mins and a few miles it suddenly came up with HTC special programmes off then transmission fault. Then struggled to get car back onto ramp without putting foot to floor and it felt like it was slipping in every gear.

Has anyone else had a similar or the same problem any help is better than no help

thanks.

Is the cable stiff to move?

Does it change gear smoothly, or is it jerky/banging when it changes gear?

When the oil change was carried out, did they reset the adaptive values?

If so, the car needs to be driven within a certain range of parameters to relearn its gear positions/ratios Thumbs Up

I drained the fluid and changed it myself following instructions from range rovers technicians instructions so only took sump filter off and replaced with new after fluid drained out

Did you use normal red ATF to refill the box?
