2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Siberian Silver
Tdv6 Engine fitted wont start

Error code Error code p1621 turns ober but wont start. Any ideas Big Cry silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

Its a problem with your Immobilizer code words do not match hows the battery's on the key Fobs

As far as i know the batteries are ok. It was fine before we took out engine and rebuilt it mind u it has been off the road for 6 weeks silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

I just wonder if you need to do the lift pump sequence, did you change any software during the rebuild..or injectors..

flack means it may need the lift pump resetting with fault mate or similar diagnostics equipment Thumbs Up

quick update,immobilser fault code has gone now as using other key,but new code is saying cam sensor air gap???the car started fine before we took engine out so cant understand why cam sensor would just fail or has it Confused silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

Who set the timing up and what method did you use...your code is suggesting that the ecu does not know the position of the camshafts..

My friend who is a mechanic with a garage/mot station timed it up. With a tool he fabricated. Maybe we should purchase the proper locking pin kit. As its looking like timing out isn't it Bow down silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone
