Get one like mine. Great system but takes a while to warm up. You might have a bit of change to get yourself a few beers too.

I've just started out down the Sonos route and have just bought a pair of Play 3's - with the intention of turning it into a surround sound system.

Not a big budget for a decent system. Maybe get a sound bar for that money? How new a TV is it? A decent 5.1 surround system will need an AV amp, 5 speakers and a sub woofer and it tends to cost! 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled 2022 HSE Dynamic P400e 2017 Discovery 3.0 HSE Silicon Silver Nimbus interior and a few extra toys SOLD 2013 HSE Black, Orkney Grey, Ebony Seats and Ivory Interior SOLD 2006 HSE Plus a few other cars inbetween! |

Have a listen to a few soundbars too, a good quality soundbar can sound better than a poor quality surround set up at around the same cost and on your budget a decent 5.1 setup will be tight.

Thanks for the link, think I may stretch to the Bose system always liked them. I already have a sound bar, but volume is limited, much better than the TV speakers though.
