Fiat Ducato

Completely RRS unrelated and a bit of a long shot, but was just wondering if anyone has any experiences with Fiat Ducato's?

I'm going to look at one today on a 60 plate, I've always had Mercs or Transits before but this ducato has come up at the right price.

Ive got choice of 2, a 2.3l or a 3.0l

Any thoughts?

Its a Fiat Whistle Stick with what you know. Merc every time. Thumbs Up

To be fair, ive never had or driven Fiat vans, You could look at the Merc sprinter equivalent, VW. Thumbs Up

One of my businesses deals in commercial vehicles under 7.5t.

The Ducato is a decent van for the price, they prefer to do plenty of miles rather than town work.

Only real problems I've seen has been the gearboxes aren't the strongest.

This would normally be my thinking Ady, but its come at an awkward time for me when I wasn't planning on replacing any of my vans, and just cant stretch to the equivalent in Merc or VW, it would mean going older or higher miles to get one in my budget.

SPX - That's what ive heard too, but as we know from experience on here people complain about faults a lot more than praise a vehicle.
