Me I just call roadside assistance and they come with a flatbed and take it away Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Never in it long enough to either put it in Drive or put the hand brake on! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Handbrake though, many in OZ never use it due to issues with EPB failure due to dust/dirt etc SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile

To be honest, without us all second guessing what the problem might be, i'd suggest calling out a recovery service if you are a member of one and ask them to check it out first, if your not a member, then shame on you Shocked You should have a membership of some sort owning a RRS. Wink
It sounds like the air suspension could have a leak, and if you leave it in normal height mode over night and its been leaking the self levelling suspension has been still working over night to try and level the car and it has flatterned your battery. Well that my theory anyway. Thumbs Up

The handbrake light should go off when you switch off the ignition. Confused

I doubt that the handbrake light on the dash would cause the battery to run flat. More likely the battery or alternator is on its way out. The handbrake light should go out approx 15 minutes after the car has been locked and it has gone into sleep mode.

I used to put the handbrake on every time I parked up. I used the brake pedal before taking it off handbrake.

Strange sounds in the engine bay could be anyhing really...you'll need to figure out where abouts the sound is coming from. Can it be heard when the car is stationary? Does the sound change with higher/lower RPM? Does it make the sound when the car is in Neutral/Park or when being driven? Does it accellerate ok? Are all the intercooler pipes connected ok? Check vacuum pipes also.

Get someone to rev the car while you listen to where the noise is coming from.

Fingers crossed it's not a turbo problem Big Cry
