I have managed to get a few HST parts togther for an upgrade. The only thing I cant figure out before I give the car in is how the new foglights will fit into the HST bumper. The fitment of the HST foglights is totally different to the original ones. There are no screw holes in the actual foglights just a small plastic bracket at attatched to a long screw/spring type thing |

No advice from any HST owners or HST upgraders ? How do you change the foglight bulb on a HST bumper, there are no visible screws or fastenings on the front side of the foglight, is it a bumper off job ??

Thanks for the help guys. The HST bumper foglights are different to the above diagram. My existing HSE foglights are secured the way you have indicated above. However the HST foglights do not have any screws or fastenings from the front. What ever holds them is behind |

I was reading this post and noticed that i have a cracked fog light on my HST, i was wondering the same as you. i pulled off the fog light bezel and noticed that their was one screw attached to the fog light, i dont know if this is the screw that holds the fog light in place or not. I have got hold of a bezel set from the dealers which includes a mounting ring for the foglight. I havent figured out how all this goes into the bumper yet. Azizbu would you mind taking a pic close up with the bezel removed please. The screw you can see from the outside just adjusts the aim of the foglight I believe. Between us we might make sense of it as I have a bumper which is off the car. Thanks [/list] |

I just replaced a cracked HST foglight this evening. The foglight itself is attached to a plastic surround/housing held on by two nuts/bolts. That "long screw/spring type thing" you are referring to is where the bolts go in to attach it to the housing. There are four screws that attach this foglight/housing unit to the inside of the bumper. There is no way to get to it from the front. You have to remove the bumper cover. |
