UPDATE
So, Today was the day that Mrs Endjin had an appointment booked at the VIP event. I decided to tag along (with our 3 year old, Mini-Endjin in tow) as Mrs E really did want to go! Can't say I was expecting much but hey ho, off we went. Mrs E was allocated a different salesman, excellent chap called George. She has been looking at the Evoque 5 door. We got a really fair price for her Freelander and an excellent discount on the Evoque which has resuletd in lower monthly payments than she was currently on RESULT So, I decided to have another go. The unregistered Disco HSE LUX that I had been lusting after was still sitting unsold. I asked George if he would pull my file and have a look at the deal I was offered on Thursday as I did want to do a deal but not on the rubbish terms I'd been offered. No problem... he had the sales lead transfered to him & we began our chat..... Mini E was pretty bored by this point but Luckily Bryan (After sales manager) spotted us and appeared with an LR baseball cap for him.... Suddenly Mini E has a new best friend! (Nice one Bryan ) Even better, the wee fella then spotted a ride on tractor to play on and that was him well sorted .... So back to negotiations, George went awayto have a chat with the dealer principle and arrived back shortly to say that they would honour the original price I was offered for my car (£1500 more than the guy on Thursday was willing to do)... We shook hands, I paid my deposit and a deal was done!! Everybody Happy What a difference dealing with the right people can make. Just to top things off.... The other salesman from Thursday came over as he'd been about to close a deal on the same car but George had beaten him to it.. SWEEEET I know it's juvenille, but, I couldn't help but smile one of those.. up yours... kinda smiles So, after all that, We've just bought 2 brand new cars and... more importantly.. the wee fella has a nice new baseball cap Thanks for your excellent attention George, Peter Vardy should be giving you a big pat on the back for saving what was a lost deal! 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Did you try getting a price from south of Perth...?
I admire your patience but having bought countless vehicles from the T&C group with the typical Aberdeen no effort sales pitch i vowed never to buy local again.
I once required a brake pedal switch replaced when in Edinburgh and they fitted me in the next morning 8am and treated you like a normal human being and was even offered a coffee......NEVER EVER would you get service like that in Aberdeen grrrrrrr makes my blood boil at some of those cheap suits that they borrowed from their fatter fathers looking down their nose at you when your trying to give them commission.
