Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

Interesting that every one of the faults is really down to the owner apart from the co2 emissions, Failing on tyres is unforgivable! Heartened to see that usual things like steering joints and bushes don't come up.
Cheers
Dave

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Mine failed on a split CV boot (a few weeks after a service) with an advisory on the wheel bearing at the same corner. Both covered by the MOT warranty part of the LR Approved Warranty.

I don't believe the CV boot just happened to fail between the service and MOT. I reckon it's another example of LR service as was the bending of the brake disc guard so it rubbed on the disc after the CV had been replaced. I sorted that out myself. I didn't manage to clean all of the CV grease that the LR technician had left sprayed around the back of the dic guard though. Again, great service there guys.

As for the issues in that survey, failing on tyres is unforgiveable and a sign of uncaring owners - not that they are restricted to RRS of course. Interesting that they failed some on incorrect size. Presumably the wrong size resulted in rubbing of tyre against something? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

At least they do better than most and, its a bit of good news (in a way) compared to the doom and gloom stories we often see.

to be fair, most MOT testers have no idea what half the stuff on a RRS is or does, and does it need testing ?, my MOT station spent ages trying to find out if the ACE system is actually part of the MOT or not, it isnt 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
