I concur, especially the 'born again' breed!

You get idiots riding bikes as you get idiots driving cars.

Sadly though the idiots driving cars injury & kill many bikers the idiots riding bikes only kill & injure themselves.

I probably Censored you off more than any biker on the road as not only do I ride with the headlight on I also generally have two additional led lights on so I look like a bloody xmas tree coming up behind you so unless you've got privacy glass on all windows - god that really Censored me off when people drive with limo black windows all round - you cannot fail to see me Thumbs Up obviously unless you are just out to the shop / school run & never use your mirrors or indicators then I'm Censored Paul

I always have great respect for bikers, as i used to be a biker myself, i always give them plenty of room on the road, its a shame they don't always respect other motorists using the same bit of road. Shocked (not taring them all with the same brush here) But why is it they have to be going faster than everyone else infront of them Question And why on a sunny day do they treat the roads like race tracks Confused

Probably - we were talking about idiots with DRL or headlights on

Next thing there will be either a white strobe or person walking infront of cars with a red flag Shocked

Im sorry - advanced driver trained and a few other road driving things in the past - DRL's still the most stupid idea.

Heaven forbid we have been driving for years in the UK without the need for them

Question - when in a crowd of people in high vis...(or a group of cars with DRL's), does it make you more or less visible Question Mike

none of the running lights are for safety, they are all cosmetic, some of the audi stuff is horrible, too bright and christmas tree like.

if you drive like your supposed to and that is drive, not fanny with the sat nave, dvd player, have a fag, etc etc then you should be ok, as for bikes they should be banned 95% of them think they are on the isle of man TT, there are a few "normalmpeople" but most are loonies with car hate issues. and whats with every bike wanting to get to the front of traffic lights, rolling over the line (which is an offence) after squeezing through the smallest gap....

almost on par with taxi drivers ! If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.

The last two comments show how bigoted some people can be. Neither of you understand the advantages of the 'lights on' policy or you wouldn't make such crass comments Rolling Eyes

Being more visible makes YOU safer, full stop. It has little to do with how you're driving, it just lets people know you're there, in other words, compensating for their lack of judgement or driving skills Exclamation RRS 2010

Whoa, how did we move from DRL's to hating bikers Question Shocked
Like them or loathe them DRL's (and bikers for that matter Laughing ) are here for the future as newer cars are bound to be built with them as standard. I think some, and I include the RRS ones can look quite good (sorry mse), but I have to agree, some of Audi's offerings are a little over the top for my taste. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )
GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black
GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass
