Global JLR sales are different to %. but still my point stands the UK is an important market - even though growing sales is equally improtant

Thats what happens when L/R cut corners and use most of the parts off a TDV6 to build a TDV8 apart from the obvious and then charge customers a fortune for the pleasure of it |

The alternator, starter motor, ARB bushes, dynamic ARB unit failures are nothing to do with the dealer. You run into the poor dealer service because the car itself needs to be fixed so often. The problem is that if you want to get the warranty to pay for repairs, then you need to use the dealers. If the LR warranty allowed me to use anyone I wished then I'd go to an indie specialist. Oh, and tonight I went out in the car and the driver's side headlight is stuck pointing down at the ground 12ft in front of the car. I've tried cycling through the "headlight dance" at startup but the light doesn't go into normal position. So that's something else that I'll need to ask the dealer to look at. Great. And another example of LR unreliability it seems. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I spend zero time worrying about it. And I am really excited about buying my 3rd one when the new model comes out next year ============ 2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa 2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable ============ 2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8! |

That's reassuring I like hearing positive stories about the RRS I wonder what percentage of posts are negative vs positive. I still think despite people buying and re purchasing there should be fewer with problems given the money. Buy pay twice doesn't apply here it's a premium brand with a premium price. |

there is something immensely satisfying about the RRS driving experience. Often I find myself taking the car out for a drive when I don't even need to (crazy, given fuel prices). Find a nice B-road, set her to Adaptive Dynamics mode, gear stick to the left, flappy paddles at the ready.. and let that V8 growl (TDV8, not petrol, which I hear is cream-your-pants exciting)

There is no doubt that the RRS is a nice place to be - even a 57-plate TDV8 like mine feels great on the road now that the ARB bushes have been changed and the knocks have gone (for now)..
