RRS TDV8 2009 Diesal filter problem- HELP needed

How easy is it to change the diesal filter. Mine appears to have a leak,

Has anyone done this themselves or does it need taking to a garage. Also any idea on the cost??

Any advice will help

Thanks wanted range rover sport tdv8 black

I wonder if the filter drain valve is loose, might be worth checking first to see if the leak is from that.

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Buckingham Blue

I did mine last week (TDV6) not sure if its the same on the V8 but its a very easy job, just remove the gearbox plastic shield (6 bolts) then remove the 3 bolts holding the fuel filter shield, drain the filter, unplug the water sensor wire then turn the filter anti-clockwise and remove.
Cant rember the cost of the filter but I think it was about £10.

I hope this helps.
