Body off is easy, just give it to the dealer.

Well he I a bit of an idiot if I'm honest, h managed to crash it in the snow into a metal bullard, this put a hole into the oil cooler in the bumper, then he decided to carry on driving to where he was going!.... Then tried to drive back home at which point the car decided it couldn't take any more and died directly outside buckingham palace, needless to say the police and national security guards were notto happy when he left it there!!!!

If the damage related directly to an accident presumably his insurance company would cover the costs of any repairs and a new engine? |

Well they would, but after getting quotes for the engine and the small amount of body work needed it worked out that they would write the car off ( mainly due to the cost of the engine and supercharger)

Thanks for the full & frank on the engine failure; interested in the ones due to part failure, rather than those involving the nut behind the wheel. If you have a contact in a LR dealer, they should be able to print out the relevant pages, or else pay the daily access rate for TOPiX and roll it up in the bill. |

the sport was designed from the ground up, so that the body could be removed very easyily via 100 bolts, so unless you turn it upside down , i cant think of another way of getting it out 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |

I am sorry I am not aware how the Sport was designed and you must excuse the way we do things in a third world country.
