Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

As above post, very happy with my MY10 v6, one other reason I didn't go for the v8 is that it was only available in HSE spec, and as mine is a company car I didn't fancy paying a couple of thousand a year more in tax for a rear view camera and a fridge!
Cheers
Dave
Ps, another thing to consider is that LR went to great lengths to make the car quieter and more refined, which seems not the case with the v8! If I want noise I use my other car or my motorbike!! Thumbs Up MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG

Same speed, better mpg, improved emissions, still moves the car, you cant see it under the bonnet etc...hence

i think the TDv6 is as good as you need, if you want a v8 (and i do) its only the supercharged...

it's got 4 wheels and a roof, just buy a fiesta

it's everything the RRS is and newer

if you've never driven the TDV8 you have every right to be satisfied with the TDV6 (even the 2.7). Just never drive a TDV8 for any longer than, 10 seconds... because you will Big Cry and Big Cry and Big Cry

Thumbs Up ============
2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa
2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable
============
2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!

I did. Prefer my 07 TDV8. Thumbs Up

Sure, the interior of the newer cars is much nicer, but... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Ipanema Sand

I had nice 2008 sold in fit of stupidity. Spent next 6 months to get back into a RRS. Drove the MY2011 TDV6, very nice interior, smooth etc, BUT it didn't have the effortlessness of the V8. I knew that if I brought one I would regret it and always try to justify it with better mpg etc. Found a beaut low mile 2010 TDV8 with nice interior, great sound, awesome urge, acceptable fuel economy, what more can you ask for? Very Happy Thumbs Up SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile

MY10 TDV8 for the win! Lots are coming available too (believe LR used a bunch as mgmt cars although this is disputed by some reports they were hire cars). You can get a 60 plate TDV8 if you really search.

I really didn't want to sell my 57 TDV8 but I'm so glad I did - new interior is the daddy Thumbs Up ============

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

I have had a 2.7 TDv6 and wife has a 3.0 D4 and for the last 5 years I have had a TDv8 RRS. I have demo'd a number of 3.0 TDv6 RRS but simply cant make the switch.

The TDv6 is a great engine, with bags of torque and get up 'n go. But the TDv8 does everything with more. Its like comparing "enough" with "plenty". Or (as I have said before) its like comparing a warm shower with a luxurious bath.

It depends on your taste though. If enough is enough - get the TDv6. If you like to have "plenty" go for the TDv8. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I had a 2010 D4 3.0L TDV6 as a courtesy car for 4 days and was very happy when I got my "old" TDV8 back Thumbs Up

Whatever the V6 guys say.. the pickup is better, the noise is better and the mpg is so close it isn't really a factor when you're haulin 2.7 tonnes. RRS gone
