Thieving f'ing parasites

Collected my car from Shenfield station at 12pm last night and guess what was missing from underneath?"...............the thieving scumbag has nicked my spare wheel and left me which a nice cut cable.

I hope the thieving parasite comes to a slow and painful end!

Anyone know where I can get a spare wheel from and a pulley, that is cheaper than the £305 for a 19 inch steel wheel, £105 for the pulley as quoted by Lookers LR Chelmsford?

Arghhhhhhhhh.... RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

There is also something on offer to stop this happening again, a spare wheel guard, sold on here custom made by a d3 member from memory.

Also parking in access height hinders their thieving efforts

D4 winch, with improved security, should fit. Contact TheLargeOne on D3 site for the best price and the RLD here for his protector plate, as Johnny Fresh mentioned.

@ T8OOL - Sorry to hear that. Shenfield stations car park is all to easy for people to just get into as its not linked directly to the station. Any chance you can get hold of some CCTV footage from them to see if you can get a car reg etc of the Censored in the act ? They charge enough for parking there so I'd assume they have some Confused

Hope you get it all sorted.

There was plenty of rail track maintenance guys knocking around in the car park, and I bet they have access to the required cutters! Filed a report with the transport police who, I'm told will check CCTV, not holding my breath.

Searching eBay now for a steel wheel for the spare, not going to spend a fortune on a matching alloy.

if anyone sees a 20 inch shadow chrome alloy for sale in the Essex area let me know, good chance it's mine RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

When I spoke to LR lookers to get a price for a new wheel, the parts guy said this is a common issue and they get loads of incidents like this happening, makes you think LR should recall the cars and fit the anti theft device free of charge, let's get a petition going....... Quite clearly a design fault RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

Seems like you're managing to get it sorted out T8OOL, (good prices from Duckworths).

As you say, if its a common thing that LR are aware of, you would think they would have come up with something to protect the wheel. I only have a factory steel space saver on mine, not a proper alloy, but I still don't fancy some scrote helping themselves to that tbh.

Re the CCTV, I believe that you can request a copy yourself, I'm not sure exactly how, but something to do with data protection blah blah. Could be worth looking into.

Edit: Found Found this Not sure if it relates to cameras on private property though.

Will definitly keep an eye out for you regarding the onward sale of 'one 20" shadow chrome RRS alloy - as new' Thumbs Up Karma will catch up with these Censored , but that's no consolation at the moment when you're £170 in the hole! ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Scum. Glad you got it all sorted for a good price.

I was stung with this a few weeks back. Got a replacement pulley from the guy over on D3 for £66 delivered. 10 minute job to fit the new one. I still have my spare wheel due to a fast moving brother in law Wink

Ours was attempted one lunchtime, in between my wife putting 2 load of kids stuff into the boot! Good job I was in Cape Town at the time Censored
