vibrating dipped beam..now doing my swede in

Well after thinking it was the tyre balance out (now sorted) I'm back to square one with the vibrating dipped beam.

It seams to be the near side unit that's the culprit, with a shimmering edge that is very obvious on motorway signs after dark...

Is there anything in these units that can come lose... allowing the xenon bulb to move too freely?

it's getting to the point I'm going to have to replace the whole head unit to sort it (before i do my angel eye headlight mod )

Does nobody else notice the effect when on the motorway? RRS gone

my car is doing the same. Been told by Land Rover that I have slightly buckled the OSF alloy and this is what's causing it.

do you have any vibration? Could be you've whacked an alloy as well?

It could just be rim/tyre inbalance - would suggest to start with proper wheel balancing. This includes taking the tyre of the rear/front lip of the rim. If this does not help then swap your front and rear wheels (ideally rims only). This will show if your wheels are really buckled.
I had gone through the same and ended up swapping the wheels with a friend. He had the wheels refurbished and never experienced any vibration Shocked
