Well its day 6 of the paintwork being modified on my car and its still not right, and the service director couldnt even be bothered to let me know before he skipped off for the weekend. I am so upset and angry I cant believe this has happened. I hate to admit it, but possibly a little girl has cried this afternoon.Out of anger and frustration.

So Im going to sell my car if I ever get it back .. Ive had enough. Its turning into a full time job having a landrover. I let the previous cars take over my life as they were always issues.

So any ideas on what to get next...

1. Toyota Landcruiser 200 4.5 TD - but waiting list for new; residuals on s/h make them rare and expensive. Will never let you down

2. Audi A6 Allroad quattro - adjustable height for off road

3. Volvo XC90 - regularly take one on shoots, very impressive on road as well '10 Range Rover Sport TDV8

Forgot to mention that I need to tow a double horse box as well. 

If you don't want land rover go for Audi Q7 that would be my second choice from a sport RRS 2010 model in Bali blue

Experience tends to suggest all cars have their problems - its pot luck and a lot down to how the dealership deals with it.

Friend prosche was bad, another audi etc etc.

Ask them for a new Land Rover Mike

2014 Facelift Discovery

Thats the theory I want to believe but this is the 3rd Range Rover Ive had from the dealership and all 3 have been full time jobs.

 

I'd be going for an XC90 or Q7 if I didn't have the Sport. I personally really like the look of the Q7.

Sports cars:

1. Alpina B5 Bi-TurboTouring - I have a B5 and it is one of the fastest car I have driven. Outrun a Gallardo to 185mph and then pull away. Max 205mph. Auto, head up display (essential as you are into three figures on a simple overtake in almost total silence) and a delight to drive. Mine is one of four RHD Tourings in the world. This latest version will be just as rare. A total Q car as nobody has a clue what it is. 530bhp, 700nM torque. Wife describes mine as "a thug in a suit".

2. Jaguar XFR saloon - fantastic soundtrack and handles like a small sportscar. Unfortunately you are dealing with JLR reliability again. The test car I drove broke down twice!

3. Porsche Cayenne Turbo - great both on and off road but don't take one on a shoot or everyone will laugh at you! '10 Range Rover Sport TDV8

People will laugh at you wherever you go in a Q7! Oh and they are rubbish off road and in snow.

Cheers boys. Im not sure that the alpina would get us to pony club and out hunting ha ha however the q7 is not as bad as i thought, but wouldnt have white. Remember I live near to Bradford...
