Land Rover Dealers will repair it by fitting some self tappers to the running board.

i have taken the metal things that were on the side step off by drilling them out and now a hole is left for each one- how are the self tapping screws used- do these just screw from the inside of the black trim through into the metal trim tp hold it in place or is there a different way of doing this- can someone tell me how to attach these with some instructions |

thanks for the reply- that is what i did and i have the holes after knocking the rivets through- so i willl get the self tapping screws now and screw in from the inside of the black side step- where does the washer go - i assume that will be against the head of the screw (on the inside of the black plastic step?) |
