loss of power and smokey

Hi All

I’m new on here and the owner of a 2006 HSE RRS
I have a problem and was hoping someone could advise me, when driving my RRS today i notices when putting my foot down to get up a hill and started to lose power i pulled over but have no warning lights come on so carried on my journey at normal speeds you don’t really notice anything wrong again when speeding up it felt sluggish and i notice black smoke coming out of the back, when i got home and revving the car in park it was still very Smokey. Does this sound like the turbo??? Bow down

Either a pipe has come off or split, possibly on your turbo or maybe you have an EGR valve thats goosed, common on 2006 models

Hopefully just an intercooler pipe split...

Check down the left hand side of the engine bay (looking from the front). That vertical pipe may be your culprit.. RRS gone

STILL SMOKEY please help

Found out the fault code was coming up as a faulty EGR and just had both replaced and it still Smokey I’ve checked the intercooler and its pipes and there all good although did notice oil in the bottom of the intercooler pipe meaning oil in the intercooler??? is this normal after replacing a faulty EGR or do you think its a turbo problem the car has 66k on the clock are they known for turbo problems. Bow down

Spain

Could be a tubo pipe delaminating inside.
