The detailer I use is hard to pin down and needs booking weeks (even months) in advance which I suppose means he's very good........it's going to detailers a week after collection, if there is anything wrong I will get it documented with photos and report back to dealer......I have a good relationship with my local LR dealer and they look after me well so shouldn't be a problem.....

Jonny you could always request that the dealer doesn't touch it when its delivered to the dealers because thats when the paint damage will be done when they are preparing it for you.

Yeah could do......but my last one was delivered in perfect condition....but that was silver and is harder to tell....

They are doing their best for 29th April, but I go away on 2nd May so it may be when I get back on 9th......

Overfinch wheels ordered and going straight to dealers, they are doing the wheel swap and fitting TPMS sensors to new wheels.......dealer is also doing the calliper painting now so everything will be done by them which is great.......

the car will arrive to me with the tigers on, red callipers, and 4 new autobiography wheels in the boot for me to flog and recover some of the 70K invested

totally worth it though, will be an awesome looking machine

Jonny....have learnt a lot in the last couple of years - and made worse by the fact my Z4 is white and I clen it every day in this weather...even just to jet wash the dust off of it and towel dry it.....

And why not, it's what we work hard for and to a lot of us, it's an extension of who we are...
