I got a great piece of kit today from Costco for standing on while I clean my roof rather than clinging on with one hand whilst washing with the other,just over £20 well worth it,just need to document a new risk analysis

Got home earlier (5pm) and thought I would give the car a going over, started with 10mins of Valet Pro Citrus prewash foamed through the lance, pressure rinsed then decided to sort the iron deposits with some iron x,

Are iron deposits a new thing,not something I had ever heard about until fairly recently and now nearly every car I see detailed are covered in them?

Not totally sure but I think it's from brake disc and other industrial type fall out

I think living near a railway also contributes a little to mine too

Iron X works great though, shame it's expensive and used half a bottle tonight and still need to do the wheels

It was on my iPhone with HDR enabled to try and enhance what was a poor photo to start with because of a sea fret  MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I never get good results with HDR it needs to have the camera super steady or it blurs as it takes two photos with sligt variation in contrast

I just use normal and tap dark or lighter areas till I get a balance I like

I'd be all up for a meet (especially if its north) but I'm not a DIY detailer at all, I never wash my car myself............but I am planning on keeping my new one pristine.....let my last one go a bit neglected towards the end.....

Got a new car detail booked in shortly after it arrives and plan to get it detailed properly quarterly.......

I need to find a good mobile valeter and have tried a few and none stand out.....

I would have a mini valet weekly if I can find someone decent.

Given my recent experience I would strongly recommend you take a detailer with you when you go to pick your car up to check the paintwork hasn't been ruined at the dealers.
