Hi , yes common fault small fuel tank, fuel gage arrow goes down same speed as rpm....
Oh and the thing is to look out for some shell oil shares like other gents mentioned on here, or owning petrol station will be a move forward as you will visit it as often as your own home Big Cry
Best car i ever had so far......

Hey, thanks for your response!

Do you know how much a full tank is in pounds and litres? and how many miles 2 gallon i can get?

obviously it would be down to driver behaviour etc but im thinking petrol wil be gone quick!?

I can second that! And to be honest I don't drive to far with out a full tank! Rolling with laughter

I get 11.5mpg around town stop start work thats about 220miles on a full tank and about 18.5 on a run (that's about 350miles on a full tank) at speeds of between 70 and 100 so I'm told !!

I went out and just bought one then I had to save up to use it Big Cry Big Cry

Best damn car I have ever owned. If you can afford to run it you'll love it guaranteed! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Cheers Laurence.

After futher testing yesterday i drove rrs 4.2 s/c till it said on trip computer - range 0 miles, that petrol gage and( sensor ) in fuel tank is very acurate, 19 galons or 19.5 est and abt 110-120 to fill it up depending on which petrol station you use.
Oh every time i visit that petrol station my swear word vocabluary increasing while am at the pump puting fuel in the car ( some people near by thinking am a special guy Whistle with turrets syndrome)
But now i would like a new s/c model Smile))))) Bow down

In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Buy one that runs on tractor juice. If your lucky you can get 30mpg when going downhill. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

2005 Supercharged 4.2 Petrol

Hi

I have spent the last three years driving an is300 Lexus which is one hell of a car, super fast, quiet, silky smooth and in three years only ever had one let down which was a puncture !
Like the Range Rover it was a thirsty car and i was loathed to move onto a bigger engined car, however, once you drive a supercharged 4.2 you will never want to go back to anything else but this amazing piece of british engineering.

The Range Rover sport 4.2 supercharged is without doubt the most amazing bit of kit i have driven in a very long time, i have driven some very classy cars, astons, jaguars, bentley to name a few, but not one gives the same feeling of unleashing that V8 and experiencing 3 ton of pure majic doing what it does best. You just cannot stop smiling when you hit the gas peddal, the roar and pace are just an amazing thing to experience and i dont think i will ever tire of it.
Just last week i was fortunate enough to take the wheel of a brand new sport, all £60k of it, it was a 3 litre diesel version and although it pulled well it just did not have that "WOW WOW WOW" factor that the supercharged gives in bucketloads.
Yes the fuel costs are high, lets face it 250 miles on approx £90.00 of fuel is never going to impress anyone, but you have to weigh it up with what you get for that £90.00.
Would i rather be driving a mondeo, bored to death with being Mr ordinary, no way matey, this car delivers so much more and I for one will not be changing. 2005 Rang Rover Supercharged
Loving every minute !

Tjsinabox

Buy one you will love it. I generally get 200 a tank but on a run 300. One issue all older rrs sufffer from is degradation of air springs . Easy enough to fix, new air spring
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
