I am experiencing an issue where the driver's door fails to lock. It appears that the inner lock lever/button isn't returning fully when the door is opened from the inside and therefore does not fully 'engage' into the recess above the door release handle when the remote operates the central locking. (Does that make sense?). If I push the lever in before I shut the door, it works fine. Has anyone come across this or have any advice please?

What I do plan to do is remove the trim and check for the any mechanism issues which brings me to my next question:

Can anyone assist with the location of the fixings to enable the removal of the door panel please?

had the same issue with mine, dealer replaced the lock motor part, and now it works fine.
