22" Wheels Help needed!

I have 20" stormers on my 55 plate S/C thinking of getting some 22" But have been told that putting 22" i will compromise the ride it will tramline and the suspension will not lower as the wheels will rub on the arches??

Is this true?? Cheers Laurence.

I would think that the wheels should be fine with the correct offset and tyre size...

In my observations I see the only way for the tyres to touch is on a total suspension failure which puts it on the bump stops. An absolute bitch of a ride!! I know!!

Even on access height the suspension has 6" or so of final travel up inside the arch.... Shocked

The only other issue is of the steering rack and if it is dampened or not.... Plenty of posts on this....

Hope this helps...

Alex

I'm running 22" overfinch supersports and i don't have any problems whatsoever with rubbing or tramlining no matter what height the suspension is, but they arn't as good in the snow as 19's, hope this helps.
