Can the glow plugs be replaced by most competent garages or are you required to visit a land rover dealership? This cold snap has brought about a few lumpy starts on my tdv6 and I am considering replacing them but don't fancy dealership prices.... All advice welcome. Thank you.[/code]

Make sure it is not your battery having a lower voltage than usual causing the lumpy running, as the loading on the alternator can cause this, (ie, if it is the original battery it may well need replacing, or at least charging).
