Is DR standard on TDV8s or an option? |

I believe it is standard on the TDV8, well it is here in upside down land. |

Back to my first question : with DR, is the vehicle less comfortable for passenger, especially in the back ? |

The main advantage of having DR from a passenger's point of view is that the car will roll less (corner flatter) than a car without it so there is less likelihood of getting travel sick if the person is susceptible in that way. |

I hope this will help you understand...
DR has nothing to do with the air springs or dampers. Its all to do with the front and rear stabilizer bars, so it does not affect the stiffness of the ride. It just controls the body roll. Comfort, whether in front or at the back, is very subjective and up to the individual. I don't know if your current vehicle has DR but I would suggest you drive both types to make a personal decision. ![]() 4.2SC Chawton White, Stormers Tasmod's Sills, Wind Deflectors, LR Sills Clear Side Repeaters, Towbar Larini Sports Exhaust, K&N Air Filter ______________________________ WINNER - 2008 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award WINNER - 2009 Outstanding Contribution WINNER - 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award |

Dynamic Response is standard on all models except the basic SE here in the UK. I would be surprised if the dealer doesn't have an HSE demonstrator. http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/rr/range-ro...s-options/ 2010MY HSE 3.0 TDV6. Stornoway Grey/Ivory. Extended leather, winter pack. |

If he sticks with that position, tell him you want the HSE std spec car as advertised by LR. If he refuses, report him to trading standards. Perhaps the dealer is confused (perhaps he is talking about Terrain Response with Dynamic Mode. However this would seem odd as this is not an available option for the TDV6 HSE or SE). Have fun ! ![]() |

Apparently, standard in the UK, not outside (says LR document I have here). |
