2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Tow Bar electrics

Hi,

I recently bought a nearly new 09 RRS. I wish to attach a bike carrier and have bought a 2nd hand detachable tow bar. I need to check if the electrics are already installed before I purchase these but am unsure what to look for. any help would be appreciated.

Remove the cover in the middle of the rear bumper, if the car has electrics fitted you will see the sockets behind the cover.

Thanks for the reply. Will that mean for sure that the sockets are connected? I have heard of sellers removing the electrics behind that.

If the sockets are there its a fair bet they will be connected, it would be a pointless excercise to disconnect the wiring and leave the sockets in.
