TOOK OFF HORIZONTAL STRIP, ABSOLUTELY FULL OF MUD, CAUSING WATER TO BUILD UP
AND ENTER TAILGATE VIA CLIP HOLES. CLEANED IT OUT, PROBLEM SOLVED.
CHEAPEST FIX EVER.

Take a little care when you "lift" the door tread plates. 
Hhmm. They look like they could be quite brittle, is this the case. Are they stuck down too? |
