 How on earth do you get the plastics to stay black!

usually a heat gun does the trick
keep it on until the plastic changes colour back to as new then move it around until all is done
be careful near screen though
this is a permanent fix

mine passed mot ok
leak seems very small
it dosent drip on drive overnight.ifact no drips at all.
looks like light misting
just topped up maybe half a pint if that
 arc oil

try your local fleet factors,just google it.
usually very reasonable if you buy in 5l

had my 2007 tdv8 on ramps today,only to discover fluid leaking from the arc unit.
it maybe just the o ring.fingers crossed.

im lead to believe its not possible to repair these units.

also do yo ...
