Couldn't agree more but with only a local garage being a MD I'm stuck for choice.
If warrenty wise say it's too much then I will look to another garage like you said 3500 seem to be the average |

I would drain the transmission oil, then add two tubes of Dr Tranny, and top the oil up. Cost about £60 and is likely to at least delay the inevitable torque converter change.
