That's why I mentioned it was pre 2015.
My point is, he mentions tapping the holes even on this model.

| 35 seconds in he mentions the holes have to be tapped and this is a pre 2015 model. He has also made a pig's ear of the cover . |

Yes put the bracket up to the plastic trim,Mark with white marker & I cit with a 2” cutter.Are you sure the holes aren’t threaded.?seems weird them not being.

Wow, I did do it the hard way.
Yes definitely not threaded, had to buy a tap and cut new threads.
