I think I will do that next time I go there with my camera phone so I can be low key. TPMS is the tire pressure monitoring sensor that I believe is on other Land Rover vehicles. Out of curiosity did anyone else have to sign a contract/waiver????? '06 RRS SC BLACK ON BLACK ON BLACK 22' HRE'S |

In the USA, the only way a warranty repair will not be covered by the manufacturer is if your modification was the direct cause of the failure. (See: Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975.) There is no way to just simply "void your warranty" because you made a change.

Good point. I think LR should look very closely at this esp. for the US market and should offer such wheels as an option. " WITH MORE EXTRAS THAN A HOLLYWOOD EPIC " |

I've been advised to stay clear of 22" wheels on the RRS. To get the correct rolling diameter i.e. approximately 730mm, you need to use a 30 profile tyre, which is arguably too low for a 2½ ton car. You could use a 35 profile tyre, but that give a rolling diameter of 760mm, which is too big.

I purchased my RRS new from a UK main dealer who supplied the car with optional 22" Overfinch Tiger Alloys. The car was on display on the forecourt of the dealership when I collected. After 12,000 miles all the wheels are as new and unmarked and the car drives and handles well. If driven properly the wheels should be safe from damage but judging by some of the cars I have seen even the smallest diameter wheels would be kerbed by some drivers!! In fairness, if you live in a town then you're far less likely to damage your wheels through day-to-day driving. OK, you can jam your wheels up against the kerb when you park but that's avoidable if you look what you're doing, as John says. However, if you live in the sticks (like me) many's the time you'll run into potholes & rough country lane shoulders and it's quite easy to scuff your wheels without even knowing it.... just my 2p.
