I've gott ACC on mine. Never used it though and don't plan on doing so. If I wanted to hand control of the throttle and brakes to someone or something else - I'd get a taxi ! RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I've only had my RRSport a couple of days but it does have ACC. I love it. Especially good if the car in front starts to brake lightly then harder. The system detects the deceleration rate of the car in front increasing and applies the brakes. Big time hits the brakes. It could brake you from 100 MPH to 20 in a flash. Only issue with it is that sometimes it detects a truck, on a bend and assumes that the truck is in the same lane and brakes. You can change the distance between you and the car in front. Basically, it's cruise control, just safer. I don't know if you can switch the radar off or not. 2022 P440e AB |

Same here, I think it's great. So relaxing to drive on the Autobahn and just move in and out of traffic with nothing more than a slight turn of the wheel. As mentioned earlier sometimes it can catch you out on the bends.

Can't turn the radar off to the best of my knowledge. ACC is OK - I use it quite a bit - but it does make for a not-so-smooth ride as it only looks one car ahead of course and hence cannot forecast the flow of the traffic Brakes late and accelerates slowly too. |

It could be interesting, but I have the impression that is not really a developed technology, so has some issues to correct. It can be better if you are able to turn on or off the radar and use like a regular cruise control too.

Not sure it's worth specifying if you're building from scratch... |
