My views mirror yours Doc. My remapped TDV6 gives the perfect blend of performance and economy, great residuals, and I cant see a lot more to be gained by the TDV8 except additional financial outlay and higher fuel costs. Other marques dont come close and depreciation is scary. Having said that, I will probably consider a TDV8 when I've had this one a full year. |

Then of course when will LR add Hybrid power to the diesel line up When I bought my TDV6 last year LR wouldn't even confirm there was a TDV8 in the pipeline.

Sorry ladies, once you drive the TDv8 there no going back. As to fuel ecomony, I dont much difference from the tdv6. I tended to find that I pushed the TDv6 a lot and that screwed the Mpg, whereas in teh tdv8 its a delicate little push on the loud pedal , and boy all thoses startled BMW drivers.
