TDV8 20" Stormers OR HSE 20" alloys?

3 weeks away from taking delivery of my new TDV8 HSE Very Happy !! Very excited but can't decide whether to have the Stomer alloys fitted or just take the standard alloys. Think the stormers look better, but how easily do you think i can shift the 20" alloys through ebay (or anywhere else), as the dealer won't buy them back from me? What sort of price can i get for the 20"?

Check out flea-bay, look for completed items, it'll give you as good idea of value. A post on this forum may also be worth a go! Thumbs Up

if the car hasn't been built yet shouldn't it be possible to change the order to include stormers?

I got a set of 4 x OE Stormers with brand new Conti's off of wee-bay for £1,175.

Better to go OE than replica, just for peace of mind. (IMVHO!) Smile Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Thanks all. Dealer won't buy the 20" back but will change tyres over free of charge to stormers. Think they are definitely worth it, but looks like it is cheaper to buy them afterwards from flea-bay. (and can sell the HSE alloys there at the same time with contis.)

loving the photos Thumbs Up

Who told you that Jay? If you spec your vehicle with Stormer alloys they will be factory fitted.

Unless your vehicle has already been built of course, then the Dealer will fit them as an option with the necessary mark up. (kerrching) Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

The dealer told me that a couple of weeks ago. Said it was a dealer option not a factory fit. SO he would remove the contis and put them on the stormers, then hand over the standard 20" alloys for me to sell separately. Either way the cost for the stormers from RR is £2k, whereas I can get the OE stormers elsewhere for considerably less, whilst still having the 20" for resale later.
