Driving in today I noted that when at rest in traffic - and attempting to clear screens (front and rear) with frozen water - i.e. motor driving no water spraying - each time you press the switch PDC would beep - anyone else getting this?

Unsure at the moment whether it was motor noise setting the PDC ultrasonics off because it couldn't drive the water or whether it does this all the time...

Anyone else seen similar?

Might be the water from the headlight washers getting on the front PDC sensors?

It was happening on the rear too, and no water was coming out either - I need to try it when nozzles are defrosted and water jetting to see if fault occurs then.

If someone gets chance to try it,

1st thing on cold morning when jets are frozen.
Vehicle stationary with PDC on
try front w/screen wash and rear to see if PDC beeps... (as if from motor pump 'noise')
