United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey
And now, the end is near....

Well, it's with a heavy heart and sadness that I am about to say bye bye to the Supercharger.

What a car, solid, fast, comfy, great noise...I just love it.

I've decided to sell it as I just think the time is right, there's nothing wrong with it (which makes it even more difficult a decision). The car is just as immacualte as when I got it, the Ventureshielf tape protection has kept the front end looking like new, no stone chips, no scrapes. I've had the seat covers on for nearly the whole time I've had the car (which is daft really cos I've not enjoyed the leather as much as I could have), the inside and out is spotless.

The only negative point was the alloys, when taken offroad they were useless, but that's water under the bridge now.

I've had the car since new so its 16 months old and I've done just over 28,000 miles so far, so I've had fun in it, plus, having free fuel has helped I guess! It's been offroad (nothing major) and excelled, only the tyres let it down in the mud.

I'm trading it in for a 2006 MY Range Rover Vogue. It's Tonga Green with Aspen leather, and has lots of extra kit my Sport misses out on, including reversing camera, sunroof, electric heated adjustable steering wheel, electric lumbar, TV, on screen telemetry to name a few. once I have the car and my extras have been added I shall post some pics for everyone.

I could do with the extra space inside, I prefer the split tailgate of the FFRR and I thought it was about time I had a diesel and did a little for the environment. Most of my driving has been on the motorways and I could be doing 27mpg as opposed to 16mpg.

I hate to make the decision but I think to keep it any longer ould mean I took too much of a hit on depreciation.

A sad day but at least I can say I had one, and not only that but it was a Supercharged one and I had the BEST time in it.

I'll be selling off the extras I got with the car such as seat covers, front and rear and boot mats, phone cradle.

I'm keeping my Tasmod sill plates and going to fit them to the FFRR, just cos its easier than selling them on and buying new ones.

What's the trade in on an S/C with 28,000 miles and damaged alloys - my guess is about £39,000. That will be about £20,000 depreciation (or about 75 pence per mile) plus about £14,000 in fuel (or 50 pence a mile). Pretty expensive year's motoring, but I bet it was great fun Razz RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

I'll stick around chaps!

I find RR.Net a bit jumbled, this palce is much more sorted and defined. (The salesman at the dealer saw all my RRSPORT.CO.UK stickers and said how great he thought it was!)

Perhaps I should talk to Martin about the new FFRR forum idea! (like I'd have the time for it?)

Anyway, I need to go out with a bang so I'm hoping to win the photo contest! Very Happy

The guess on the trade in value is spot on, I almost fell over but hey, it's only money, can always earn more.

Perhaps I can be an honourary member who just happens to drive a FFRR instead? L319 D4 HSE
