Sad news RRUK... soon there will be only MDP and Misery of the old SC brigade left. The number of folks to make petrol station residency jokes about is lessening... Big Cry

I suppose none of this is really surprising - those of us who have been on this forum for way too long are all probably coming up to car renewal time for one reason or another.

The FFRR will be lovely, but I can't imagine it being as grin-making as the RRS... Confused

I grieve for you Adam Big Cry ......... But as you say the FFRR does have its benefits....... I have decided I like my fighterbomber toooooooooooooooo much & will be running it a little longer. Maybe i'll be looking to change next year to a 2008 spec & poss to a TDV8 ????

Either that or I'll just run it forever... it's cheaper than selling it Wink

Sorry to hear that RRUK. I can understand the jump..............But why are you jumping to a TD6 Exclamation

Surely it should be a TDV8 Question That TD6 is awful, the TDV6 is a far better engine. You can even have my badge. Wink TDV6 - gone

Very loud and rattly... a friend of mine has one and it sounds like Mrs S' TD4 Freelander.

Spain 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

My dealer keeps trying to sell me a TDV8 FFRR and I am tempted RRUK go for the TDV8 it's sensational especially the interior which kicks the RRS'S arse unfortunately.I probably won't change for another RRS but for a FFRR oh I like that idea. I love comfort so the RRS suits me. RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

I still think the RRS has a more driver-centric interior than the FFRR. There's enough room for one's massive stomach in the FFRR, for example Very Happy

Oh, no problem... I'm just outlining the differences in the drivers of each. RRUK isn't what one would call fat, so he'll just have to make do with the flat cap and wellies Wink

I've never quite understood why the RR needs so much head room. Wouldn't it be more aerodynamic if they chopped a bit off. TDV6 - gone

.......... and with roof chopped ........ we have ................................. a RRS Wink

I just love the look/shape of the RRS - I think the interior will improve as time goes on. If the quality of the interior is of such importance to you - I would go the extra mile and have it Overfinched with leather everywhere , piped seats , alcantara headlining and other bits trimmed the same , a superior in car entertainment system to that of LR's..... etc etc etc

The other thing I MUCH prefer in the sport is the way the driver is cocooned in his own seat. Thumbs Up
