Australia 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Plastic Door Handles

I've had my RRS for a month and, unlike many on this site, I think the interior looks/feels great. However, one thing I just don't understand are the lightweight-plastic interior door handles (the longer ones you use to close the door). Is it just me or do these feel unbelievably cheap? While I'm not particularly concerned about the fake metal look around the dash (I don't touch it veruy often) it seems to me that the one area where metal should be metal are the door handles as they actually get used on a daily basis - I would happily pay $$ to replace these with the the real deal. Just a thought. Otherwise, love the car.
Cheers. TDV6 / Stornoway Grey + Black / Rhodium / Sunroof / Side Steps / DVD / SatNav / 19" Wheels / Bi-Xenon / Premium ICE / Nudge Bar

Rick given that the RRS is a Range rover you would think that the interior should be a little more up market, it does appear to me to be a little on the cheap looking side, but i have to say that i still love mine at the moment, given the option again i would go for the wood look instead of the steel look.

How long will it take before the paint gets scratched off the door habdles Question should be in leather IMO some of my Previous cars

Ditto! Could be a little classier inside for a prestige car, but certainly is great to drive.., when it's NOT in the garage for warranty work, of course. Crying or Very sad

I'm the reverse from you Envoy.., I've got wood and wish it was rhodium/steel interior. Then again, I suppose that's human nature.., we always want what haven't got? Ho-hum! Whistle
