Stupid question

Don't laugh for asking this question, alright Evil or Very Mad Razz

Never burnt MP3 CDs before and would like to burn some for my new RRSC. So do you have a do/don't list of things to be aware of when recording those CDs. Need your advice guys.

Thanks

Thanks Jay,

I thought one only needs to copy the song(s) in an MP3 format. Is there something more to it Embarassed

My original question was related to things to do or things to avoid when burning the CDs. For example, don't put lables on the CDs, as it might get jammed in the car stereo.

I'm confused too Jay? Isn't "burning" the process of making hard-copy CDs from computer software onto a blank disc, and "ripping" the process for downloading/nicking CDs onto your computer, then uploading onto your MP3 (for subsequent use in the RRS)?? Confused

Just to clarify the question, here it is again:

"My original question was related to things to do or things to avoid when burning the CDs. For example, don't put lables on the CDs, as they might get jammed in the car stereo."

Thanks guys for any advice.

One tip I can give you is NOT to put any labels on the discs.

As they warm up in the player they ripple and jam the player up. I was very lucky to get all mine out ok. L319 D4 HSE

Ah, so it's NOT all about using an MP3 in the car, but about making-up CDs for the stereo. That's ok then! Confused
