Ok, let's talk iPods now. Just yesterday I saw an iPod for the first time Embarassed

So tell me guys, what is your experience of using one in your car. Is it easy to use, and would you recommend getting one.

An iPod for the first time? Do you live under a rock? Laughing

As long as you have an AUX port, you can plug it right in, choose the AUX input from the head unit, play the iPod and bingo. However, if you do simply use the AUX port beware of the volume differential between the AUX in and the standard head unit levels (and this includes PTI and SatNav volumes). If you have your iPod up loud and the phone rings, or Satnav bint tells you to turn left - the windows will blow out Very Happy

I know, took some courage to admit that Very Happy

Thanks for the info Shmoogle. Another Q if I may. Where will the iPod sit/be, I mean is the cable long enough for it to be in the front.

Btw, already talked to my nephew, we will try his iPod on my car.

I'll do that MDP, thanks.

Really just wanted to know your general experience/impression/feeling guys of using an iPod in your cars. Would you recommend it, in your opinion.
