Hi MDP. Yes, he had a knowing smile on his face when I raised the issue of mine necessitating ear-defenders and valium every time they unexpected leapt into action sensing a molecule of moisture in the air!!!

Let's hope so? Please let me know if you find an online alternative, in case the nice man at LR decides I've got to pay for my own future silence and calm nerves!! |

Thanks! They look very similar, but the key question is.., are they going to give a nice peaceful drive??? Shame we cant get our hands on the ones tried and tested by the US boys! |

The Valeos that I used are made in France, so I hope that those over the other side of the pond have easy access.

Hi NYC. Yes, it must be a mildly-abrasive compound which did indeed initially prevent smearing, but the problem returned, thus proving it's the blade rubber. My car's at the Stealer's now for a few days warranty work (as always) so I'll ask the guy when I collect and see if it's a LR product or just a proprietary brand.

Hi MDP. I think I'll have the warranty discussion with the Stealer first, but if that's fruitless I'll give your lead a try. Please update with price, etc. I do remember the wipers are really hard to lift off the screen when washing- do you think it's going to be a pig of job to change blades? |

My wiper blades were replaced by the dealers under warranty a couple of weeks ago, and at the moment they are silent some of my Previous cars

Thanks Paul and Envoy. I'll make sure I take the knuckle dusters then and stand my ground for a warranty change? |
