Mate, which poor dealer is going to get the pleasure of this visit? Laughing

I still think we should go to a central point and listen to each other’s cars.

I suggest the home of the legend because its central and I'd like to visit it!

Any other suggestions?

Or anyone interested in meeting up please PM me or post your name and rough location below then we can meet up in small cells.

Doc
First time round they changed the ball joint. No luck. Still sounded like an old cortina.
Just went in again yesterday and they changes the bushes.
Razz Razz
Success. No more noise. Forgot what a nice ride the RRS is when everything is working.
Thanks for your postings.

I just wonder how many more owners have had a wrong diagnosis from their dealer after taking their RRS in and complaining of knocks from the front suspension. only to be sent away because the dealer has wrongly blamed the Dynamic Response system, when all along it is these basic mechanical parts which are at fault. If its the same noise, then I recommend printing off this thread and going to see your dealer with it - and I dont mean just shoving it in front of their noses - I mean offering it to them as something to look into Wink

Hope that helps Smile

i take it you have read the whole thread? I would personally read the experience of 'the doc' and others and then ask my dealer to investigate all the options

this topic you are posting in is a 'thread' - its 12 pages long and details the experiences of a few members with the same problem - I recommend you read it - it will be very helpful

In particular read Umberbob's earlier posting within this thread of the two Technical Bulletins that LR issued to their dealers and take a copy of these to show your dealer - and take notice of what the Voice Of Reason suggested about how to work with your dealer to obtain a result!
