Has anyone painted the door handles on their RRS and do you have any pictures? I'm deciding whether to have the handles painted or not? I don't think that the grey handles are perfect for the car but don't want to try without seeing if someone has any pictures.I have to get two doors painted because some keyed my car last week so figure I might as well do the other stuff even perhaps the grey part at the back. I don't think you need to remove the door panels. I've got the instructions for replacing the handles off the LR site and it clearly did not involve removing the panels - neither did it seem to difficult to do. I'm contemplating replacing my grey handles with the black ones from the D3. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge |

Hi Doc, see this thread on rangerovers.net. It includes links to door handle and lock cylinder removal instructions from the LR shop manual. It sounds harder than it really is:
