Painted Door Handles

Has anyone painted the door handles on their RRS and do you have any pictures? I'm deciding whether to have the handles painted or not? I don't think that the grey handles are perfect for the car but don't want to try without seeing if someone has any pictures.I have to get two doors painted because some Censored keyed my car last week Twisted Evil so figure I might as well do the other stuff even perhaps the grey part at the back. RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

A number of people have now done this.

http://www.carstylingstudio.co.uk/

They charge £199 for colour coding the door handles.

I don't think you need to remove the door panels. I've got the instructions for replacing the handles off the LR site and it clearly did not involve removing the panels - neither did it seem to difficult to do. I'm contemplating replacing my grey handles with the black ones from the D3. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

I had my wing mirors colour coded before I took delivery, it was doen by the dealership for £80. So far, the paint has held on the plastic.

I have seen other cars with colour coding, all the way down to the mud flaps and you can see the grain of the plastic is starting to shwo through, it looks bad. L319 D4 HSE

Hi Doc, see this thread on rangerovers.net. It includes links to door handle and lock cylinder removal instructions from the LR shop manual. It sounds harder than it really is:
